Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM, President of Saint Louis College, was elected Member of the Board of Trustees of the Regional Association of Higher Education Institutions (RAHEI), during the consultative meeting between the officials of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), headed by the Chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Angeles, and the presidents of private and public HEIs, including state colleges and universities in Region 1, at the President Hotel, Lingayen, Pangasinan, January 16, 2009.

The newly-formed organization aims, among others, to foster closer collaboration and cooperation among private and government HEIs through academic and cultural competitions among the member institutions.
