Objectives of Saint Louis College
Saint Louis College derives its general and specific objectives from: (1) the RP-CICM mission and objectives on its educational apostolate, and (2) the national development goals and educational objectives and aims as stated in the Educational Act of 1982.
Thus, the following are its general objectives:
True-Christian living, relevant academic excellence, competent professional responsibility and committed social awareness are the key interrelated dimensions of the institutional goals of Saint Louis College embodied in its Articles of Incorporation. In pursuit of these expressed goals, the College adopts the following general objectives the permeate its different curricular offerings:
To stand winess to the presence of Christ in the contemporary world by itself being
characterized by institutional and personal commitment to fundamental truths and principles. Moreover, it aims to provide moral and intellectual training in a Christian atmosphere which promote a value system founded on human rights, on upright living, and on the origin, dignity and destiny of man;
To contribute to national development by educating the youth for intelligent,
efficient, creative and wise utilization of their respective skills and professions, providing thereby
necessary and enlightened leadership in the various fields of human development:
To be the seat of intellectual dedication, constantly seeking and opening up new horizons of knowledge, ensuring the positive application of man's varied potentials and capabilities
in response to the needs of contemporary society and forming principled and involved individuals engaged in the pursuit of collective spiritual and material well-being;
